Bracing
A deliberate amount of trunk tension used to organize the torso during movement.
Conditioning
A broad term for training that organizes repeated work and recovery.
Hinge
A movement pattern in which the hips travel back while the torso inclines.
Mobility
Controlled movement through a range that you can manage.
Progressive overload
A gradual increase in training demand over time.
Range of motion
The path or distance through which a joint or body segment moves during an exercise.
Repetition
One completed cycle of an exercise movement.
Set
A group of repetitions or a defined work period.
Warm-up
A short preparation period using easier or related movements before training.
